Brandon Scheid, 26, Conestoga, began a sexual and "romantic" relationship with the child on June 5, 2021 last for a little over a month, ending on July 16, 2021, according to the release by the Manor Township police department.
Scheid had sex with the girl multiple times according, police say.
Scheid also "provided her with an alcoholic beverage while attending a family party," as stated in the release.
All of these incidents happened at a home located in the 300 block of Blue Rock Road, Millersville, according to the release.
Following a lengthy investigation that started following a tip from Childline last July, a warrant was obtained by Cpl. Pete Papadopoulos.
Scheid was arrested for three felony changes for statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of minors, as well as two misdemeanor for corruption of minors, and selling or furnishing alcohol to minors on Monday, Apr. 25, as detailed in the release.
He has been held in the Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $150,000, and his preliminary hearing has been scheduled before Magisterial District Judge Joshua R. Keller at 1:30 p.m. on May 3, court records show.
